지휘자 아드리앙 페뤼숑

라디오 프랑스 필하모니 관현악단과 가진 데뷔 공연 후, 페뤼숑은 로스앤젤레스 필하모닉, 몽펠리에 국립 오페라 교향악단, 로렌느 국립 오페라 교향악단, 니스 코트다쥐르 국립 오페라 교향악단, 로잔느 실내관현악단, 룩셈부르크 필하모니, WDR 풍크하우스 오케스트라, NDR 하노버 라디오 필하모니, 도쿄 필하모니, 모차르테움 잘츠부르크 등을 지휘했다. 빈 심포니커를 지휘하며 무지크페라인에서 데뷔했고 바이올리니스트 힐러리 한이 함께한 이 오케스트라의 독일 순회공연을 이끌었다. 이외에도 피에르-로랑 에마르, 장-에플람 바부제, 고티에 카퓌송, 아우구스틴 하델리히, 에드가 모로, 알리나 포고스키나와 장-이브 티보데와 같은 솔로이스트들과 협업도 왕성히 펼쳤다.

최근에는 고티에 카퓌송과 함께 한 파리 챔버 오케스트라의 유럽 순회공연과 리옹 국립 오페라 교향악단 데뷔, 국립 일 드 프랑스 교향악단, 앤트워프 심포니, 타피올라 심포니 등을 지휘했다. 유럽대륙을 벗어나서는 블로썸 뮤직 페스티벌에서 클리블랜드 오케스트라를 지휘하기도 했다. 그의 음반 중 2019년 3월 워너 클래식에서 발매했던 아넬린 레너아츠와 브뤼셀 필하모니의 니노 로타 하프 연주곡 모음집은 오푸스 클라식 상을 받는 영광을 누렸다. 또한 피아니스트 조재혁과 왕립 스코틀랜드 국립 교향악단의 베토벤과 리스트 피아노 협주곡 1번을 소니 클래시컬을 통해 발매하기도 했다. 1983년생인 아드리앙 페뤼숑은 피아노로 음악적 훈련을 시작해 연주자 바순과 타악기로 옮겨갔다.

2003년 정명훈이 발탁해 라디오 프랑스 필하모니 관현악단의 팀파니스트에 임명된 후 이들의 인연은 서울시향으로도 이어졌다. 이후 그는 이 두 교향악단에서 2016년까지 팀파니스트로 활동했다. 2015/16시즌과 2016/17시즌 동안 페뤼숑은 로스앤젤레스 필하모닉에서 두다멜 지휘자 펠로우 과정을 거쳤다.

Following his extraordinary debut with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France at l'Auditorium de la Maison de la Radio in Paris, Frenchman Adrien Perruchon left no doubt that he is a major talent with the ability to lead his fellow musicians to achieve extraordinary musical results. Perruchon has since worked with such orchestras as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Orchestre National d’Île de France, L’Opéra Orchestre National Montpellier, Orchestre National de Lorraine, Orchestre de l’Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, WDR Funkhausorchester, NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Mozarteum Salzburg and the Wiener Symphoniker for his debut at Vienna’s prestigious Musikverein as well as on tour throughout Germany with violinist Hilary Hahn. He has also enjoyed collaborations with soloists such as Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, Gautier Capuçon, Augustin Hadelich, Vadim Gluzman, Edgar Moreau, Kristine Opolais, Alina Pogostkina and Jean-Yves Thibaudet.

Recent highlights include a major European tour with Gautier Capuçon and the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, as well as debuts with the Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, Ulster Orchestra, Orchestre National de Lyon, and Antwerp

Symphony Orchestra, conducting the Belgian premiere of a new arrangement of Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande Suite arranged by Alain Altinoglu, as well as further afield with The Cleveland Orchestra at the Blossom Music Festival. In the 2020/21 season Perruchon will give his debut in London at Cadogan Hall, as well as debuts with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra and Suzhou Symphony Orchestra. He returns to orchestras including Tapiola Sinfonietta and Brussels Philharmonic.

In the opera pit, in the 2019/20 season Perruchon conducted a Laurent Pelly production of Offenbach’s Le roi Carotte at Opéra de Lyon. Past opera highlights include leading a new Florentine Klepper production of Bizet’s

Carmen at Opéra de Dijon, as well as conducting performances of Benvenuto Cellini (Berlioz), La Bohème (Puccini), Don Giovanni (Mozart) and the L’Heure Espagnole / L’Enfant et les Sortilèges (Ravel) double bill productions at Oper Köln. This season, he will conduct Barrie Kosky's acclaimed production of Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld at the Komische Oper Berlin. Perruchon has also assisted at various European festivals and opera houses including Alain Altinoglu in Paris and for the Salzburger Festspiele production of Don Giovanni with the Wiener Philharmoniker, EsaPekka Salonen at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence (Pélleas et Mélisande), and François-Xavier Roth at Oper Köln.

Perruchon’s discography includes an Opus Klassik winning collaboration with Anneleen Lenaerts and Brussels Philharmonic for a disc of works for Harp by Nino Rota, released on Warner Classics (March 2019). Further releases include the Violin Concertos of Stravinsky and Corigliano with Amanda Favier and Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège (NoMadMusic, April 2020), and Beethoven's and Liszt's First Piano Concertos with Jae-Hyuck Cho and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (Sony Classical, March 2019).

Born in 1983, Adrien Perruchon began his musical training on the piano before moving on to bassoon and percussion later on in his career. Appointed Principal Timpanist with Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France by MyungWhun Chung in 2003, and subsequently with Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, he held both positions until 2016. In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, Perruchon held the position of Dudamel Conducting Fellow with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
