그녀의 카네기 홀 리사이틀 후에 스트라드는 "뛰어난 음색, 뛰어난 해석 능력, 그리고 기술적 탁월함의 뛰어난 연주"라며 찬사를 보냈다. 마야 보그다노비치는 오늘날 최고의 첼리스트 중 한 명으로서 전세계 청중들에게 계속해서 많은 상을 받고 있다.

보그다노비치는  베를린 필하모닉, 도쿄 필하모닉, 브레머하븐 스타토체스터, 베르기셰 필하모니, 슬로베니아, 베오그라드, 마케도니아 필하모닉, 오케스트라 델 테아트로 시비노 시비오, 루브보크 등의 오케스트라에서 연주했다. 또한 페스티벌 오케스트라, 세르비아 라디오 심포니, 오케스트라 국립 데 페이즈 드 라 루아르, 코리안 원주 필하모닉 오케스트라, 살타 심포니 오케스트라, 모렐리아 필하모닉 오케스트라, 세인트 바르톨로뮤 오케스트라 런던, 보이보디나 심포니, 파리 오케스트라, 누브르 샹베르 오케스트라두산 스코브란, 세인트 조지 스트링스의 연주자로 참여했으며, 세종 솔로이스트로서 연주하기도 했다.

독주 뿐만 아니라 실내악에서도 이지적인 해석을 보여주는 그녀는 암스테르담 로열 콘서트게보우, 암스테르담, 톤할레 뒤셀도르프, 살레 플레엘, 살레 기바우, 팔레 데 콩그레산테스, 암피티히어 소르본 파리, 앙피테레 데 콩그레산테스를 포함한 세계의 많은 주요 공연장과 축제에서 계속해서 갈채를 받고 있다. 프랑스 엣 몽펠리에 축제, 쿠모 축제, 보베 첼로 축제, 뒤 페리고르 누아르 축제, 지베르니 축제, 파리의 젊은 인재 유럽 축제, 플라시르 드 무시크 안시, 아르카숑 축제, 클라시르 다브니르 비아르리츠, 쥬르 등에 참여했다.

그녀의 유난히 폭넓은 레퍼토리 중에서, 그녀는 현대 음악의 챔피언으로서 특별한 위치를 가진다. 그녀는 크르지슈토프 펜데레츠키, 소피아 구바이둘리나, 필립 소이어스, 니콜라스 바크리, 에릭 탱기, 벤자민 유수포프, 이반 예브티치 등의 작품들을 초연했다.

가장 주목할 만한 것은, 그녀의 펜데레츠키와의 협연을 통해 프랑스에서 국립 페이즈 드 라 루아르 오케스트라와 함께 시작했고, 베오그라드 필하모닉, 슬로베니아 필하모닉, 톤할레 오르체스터 취리히와 함께 연주를 해 나갔다. 로린 마젤, 안네-소피 무터 등이 포함된 세계 유수의 아티스트 그룹 중 마자는 유리 바슈메트, 줄리안 라클린, 배리 더글라스 등과 함께 바르샤바에서 80주년을 맞아 특별 공연을 하도록 초청받았다.

The quality of her recital and chamber music interpretations continues to be applauded at many of the world’s leading venues and festivals which include the Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Tonhalle Dusseldorf, Salle Pleyel, Salle Gaveau and Amphitheatre Sorbonne Paris, Palais des Congres Nantes, Prinzregententheater Munich, the Festival de Radio France et Montpellier, Kuhmo Festival, Beauvais Cello Festival, Festival du Perigord Noir, Giverny Festival, European Festival of Young Talents in Paris, Plaisir de Musiques Annecy, Arcachon Festival, Classiques d’avenir Biarritz, Folles journees in Nantes, Roque d’Antheron, Zeist Festival in Holland and Amsterdamse Cello Biennale. Among her exceptionally wide repertoire, Ms. Bogdanovic dedicates a special place as a champion of contemporary music. She has premiered works of Krzysztof Penderecki, Sofia Gubaidulina, Philip Sawyers, Nicolas Bacri, Eric Tanguy, Benjamin Yusupov, Ivan Jevtic and others. 

Most notably, her collaboration with Krzysztof Penderecki began in France, with the Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, and continued with the Belgrade Philharmonic, Slovenian Philharmonic and the Tonhalle Orchester Zurich. Among a select group of world’s leading artists that have included Lorin Maazel, Anne-Sophie Mutter and others, Maja was invited to give a special performance in Warsaw for the occasion of the composer’s 80th birthday, collaborating with Yuri Bashmet, Julian Rachlin and Barry Douglas.
