플룻 조성현
독일 쾰른 귀르체니히 오케스트라(음악감독: 프랑수아-자비에 로트)의 종신 수석 플루티스트를 역임하고 연세대학교 음악대학의 조교수로 임명되어 화제를 낳은 조성현은 세베리노 가첼로니 국제 콩쿠르 우승 및 프라하의 봄 준우승 등 일찍이 세계 유수의 콩쿠르를 석권했으며 그가 속한 목관 오중주 바이츠 퀸텟은 칼 닐슨 국제 실내악 콩쿠르에서 준우승을 하며 새로운 바람을 일으켰다. 이후 카라얀 아카데미를 통해 베를린 필하모닉의 단원으로서 사이먼 래틀, 주빈 메타, 리카르도 샤이, 안드리스 넬슨스, 엠마누엘 파후드, 안드레아스 블라우 등과 작업했다. 현재 평창페스티벌오케스트라의 플루트 수석 및 금호아시아나솔로이스츠의 멤버, 일본 산교(Sankyo) 플루트 아티스트, 플루트아트센터(FAC)의 음악감독으로도 활약 중이다.
Flute Sunghyun Cho
Currently the youngest professor at the Yonsei University in Seoul, Sung-hyun Cho served as principal flutist of the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne (general music director: François-Xavier Roth). He proved himself early on as a rising star by winning the "Severino Gazzelloni" in Italy and Second Prize at the “2015 Prague Spring International Competition”. And also, He is a member of Veits Quintet, which was awarded Second prize at the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition in Copenhagen in 2015.
Cho began his career as an orchestra musician in 2013, when he served as a member of the Berlin Philharmonic as part of its internship program, the Karajan Academy. For a year and half, he was mentored by Emmanuel Pahud, Andreas Blau and Michael Hasel and worked under such conductors as Simon Rattle, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Andris Nelsons.
And he plays a remarkable part of as a principal flutist of the PyeongChang Festival Orchestra, artist of Sankyo Flute in Japan and artistic director of Flute Art Center, the only professional off-line platform for flutists in Korea.
