바이올린 안수경

바이올리니스트 안수경은 선화예술고등학교, 서울대학교 음악대학 졸업 후 도미하여 미국 인디애나음대(Indiana University)에서 석사 학위(Master’s Degree)와 전문 연주자과정(Performer’s Diploma)을 장학생으로 졸업했다.

선화예고 재학 시절 실기 우수자로 선정되었으며 세계일보 콩쿠르, 음연 콩쿠르, 음악춘추 콩쿠르, KCO 콩쿠르, 국민일보 한세대 콩쿠르, 한미 콩쿠르 등에서 입상하며 두각을 나타내었다. 부암아트홀 우수입상자 초청연주, 서울 바로크 콩쿠르 입상자연주, Open Studio 21에서 실내악 주자로서 연주하였고, 앙상블 아뉴스데이, 사단법인 서울오케스트라, 서울 카메라타 오케스트라와 협연하였다. 대관령 국제음악제, 세종 국제음악제, 유로 뮤직 페스티벌에 참가 하였고, 미국 Texas Music Festival에 전액 장학금으로 참가하여 Cynthia Woods Mitchell Young Artist Competition에서 입상하였다.

미국 유학시절 인디애나 음대에서 다수의 솔로 리사이틀과 Max Reger Festival에서 실내악 연주를 하였으며 귀국 후에는 금호아트홀에서 귀국 독주회와 다수의 실내악 연주 등 활발한 활동을 하고 있고 지휘자 정명훈이 이끄는 원 코리아 유스 오케스트라의 제 2바이올린 수석을 역임하였다.

백주영, 김다미, 김진승, 이선이, Mark Kaplan을 사사했으며 현재 서울대학교 박사과정에 재학 중인 동시에 선화예중에 출강하고 있다.

Violin Su-Kyung Ahn

A Native Korean violinist, Su-Kyung Ahn graduated from Seoul National University with Bachelor's degree and went to the United States to pursue further degrees including Master’s degree and Performer’s diploma at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University under the guidance of Professor Mark Kaplan. During her studying, she was awarded with prestigious prizes including Cynthia Woods Mitchell Young Artist Competition, Korea Chamber Orchestra, Segye News competition and etc. As a soloist, she was fortunated to perform with numerous orchestras such as Seoul Orchestra, Camerata Seoul Orchestra and ensemle Agnus Dei. In addition to frequent solo recitals and chamber music concerts, she served as the principal 2nd violin of the One Korea youth Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Myung-Whun Chung. An artist of great versatility, she continuously seeks for musical experties in worldy-distinguished festivals including Texas Music Festival, Euro Music Festival, Great Mountains Music festival, and Sejong Music Festival.

Su-kyung Ahn is currently pursuing D.M.A degree at Seoul National University.
