타악기 심선민
심선민은 한국예술종합학교와 독일 슈투트가르트국립음악대학 대학원의 최고연주자과정을 졸업하였으며 현재 국립 강원대학교
음악학과 교수로 재직중이다. 제5회 폴란드 국제현대음악 콩쿠르
솔로부문 1위 및 전체부문 대상 수상(한국인최초)등 타악기 솔로 및 마림바 솔로, 현대음악 솔로 및 앙상블 등 여러
분야에서 각종 국제 콩쿠르를 석권하며 유럽 음악계로부터 주목을 받은 바 있다. 2012년 서울모던앙상블을
창단하여 국내외 작곡가들과 더불어 현대음악의 발전에 기여하고 있다. 현재 솔리스트로서 국내외 각종 초청
공연 및 페스티벌 초청 마스터클래스, 국제콩쿨 심사위원 등으로도 활동 중이다.
SunMin Shim studied percussion at the Korea
National University of Arts, and earned Diplom K.A. and Solistexamen from the
State University of Music Stuttgart in Germany.
She won various competition, such as 1st
Prize in solo category and Grand Prize in overall category of 5th Polish International
for Competition for Contemporary Music(the first Korean) erc.
Currently, she is working as a professor of
the Kangwon National University and music director of the Seoul Modern
Ensemble.
