합창 지휘 아그네스카 프랭코우-젤라즈니
아그네스카 프랭코우-젤라즈니는 폴란드에서 가장 인정받는 합창 지휘자중 한 사람이다.
공연 예술 박사과정의 명예교수이며 교사로 활발히 활동하고 있는 그녀는 브로츠와프와 비드고슈치 음악원에서 성악과 지휘를 공부했다. 또한 브로츠와프 대학교를 졸업한 생물학자이자 크라쿠프 경제 대학을 수료하고 센트럴 경영대학의 Collegium Humanum 에서 MBA 를 졸업해 문화 경영자의 자격도 갖추고 있다. 22개의 음반을 녹음했으며 개인과 앙상블로 70개가 넘는 상을 받았고, 상 중 일부인 전국 합창 지휘 대회 1등 (2004), 남부 실레지아 경연 프리머스 인터 파레 (Lower Silesian Competition Primus Inter Pares) (2004) 1등 상은 학생 때 받았다. 예술적, 학문적 활동으로 폴란드 문화에 대한 명예 훈장 (2008), 브로츠와프 음악상 (2010), 2011년 올해의 인물에서 Internauts’ Award, 폴란드 문화에 대한 명예 동상 – Gloria Artis (2014)과 2017년과 2019년에 Fryderyk 을 받았다. 2018년에 그녀가 기획한 합창 아카데미 프로젝트 (project Choral Academy)는 폴란드 음악 상의 코리피우스 (Corypheus)에 노미네이트된 바 있다.
2000년부터 2014년까지 브로츠와프 의과 대학교의 메디치 칸타테스 합창단을 창립하고 이끌었다. 그녀가 이끈 합창단은 폴란드 내외의 합창 대회에서 가장 높은 상들을 휩쓸었다. 그녀는 앙상블을 폴란드에서 가장 뛰어난 대학교 합창단의 수준으로 끌어올렸다.
2006년부터 2021년까지 음악 합창 내셔널 포럼의 예술 감독을 지냈고, 초창기부터 포럼을 개발하며 “솔로이스트들의 합창단”이라는 비전을 이루고자 했다. 2013년에 창립된 전국적 교육 프로젝트였던 폴란드 국립 청소년 합창단의 창설자이자 예술 감독이었다.
2015년 1월, 그녀는 문화부, 국가 문화유산부와 체육부에서 지원한 프로젝트인 합창 아카데미의 프로그램 감독으로 임명되었다. 이 프로젝트의 목적은 약 300개의 폴란드 유소년과 청소년 합창단을 경제적으로, 실질적으로 지원하는 것이었다. 워크샵과 공연, 경연, 학회들을 준비하고 수많은 방법론적 자료와 레퍼토리 자료들을 출판했다. 2013년에서 2016까지 그녀는 브로츠와프 문화의 유럽 수도의 음악 큐레이터로 일하며 몇 백 개의 음악 행사들이 포함된 예술 프로그램들을 시행했다.
Choral Master Agnieszka Franków-Żelazny
Agnieszka Franków-Żelazny is one of the most recognized choral conductors in Poland.
She is a Titular Professor of Musical Arts, PhD and an active teacher. She studied voice and conducting at the Academies of Music in Wrocław and Bydgoszcz. She is also a biologist, a graduate of the University of Wrocław and a culture manager with a diploma from the University of Economics in Kraków, as well as MBA studies at the Collegium Humanum at the Central School of Management. She has recorded 22 albums and won over 70 individual and ensemble awards, some of which she received during her studies: 1st prize and two special prizes in the National Competition for Choir Conducting (2004), 1st place in the Lower Silesian Competition Primus Inter Pares (2004). For her artistic and academic activities, she received the Honorary Badge of Merit for Polish Culture (2008), the Wrocław Music Prize (2010), Internauts’ Award in the competition Person of the Year 2011, Award of the Polish Academy of Sciences Iuvenes Wratislaviae (2012), the Bronze Medal for Merit to Polish Culture – Gloria Artis (2014), as well as Fryderyk 2017 and 2019. In 2018, the project Choral Academy, which she programmed, was nominated for the Corypheus of Polish Music Award. From 2000–2014, she led the Medici Cantantes the Choir of the Medical University in Wrocław, which she founded. Winning with it the highest prizes in choir competitions in Poland and internationally; she elevated the ensemble to the league of the best university choirs in Poland. From 2006–2021 she was Artistic Director of the National Forum of Music Choir, building it from the very beginning according to her own vision of a “choir of soloists”. She is the originator and Artistic Director of a nationwide educational project established in 2013 under the name of the Polish National Youth Choir.
In January 2015 she was appointed Programme Director of the Choral Academy – a project financed by the Ministry of Culture, National Heritage and Sport. Its main objective is to support the development of nearly 300 Polish children’s and youth choirs financially and substantively, organising workshops, concerts, competitions conferences and publishing numerous methodological and repertoire materials. From 2013–2016 she was Curator of Music for the European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016, co-implementing an artistic programme consisting of several hundred musical events.
