제라드 에더리는 굉장히 폭이 넓으며 다양한 재능과 능력을 가진 예술가다. 맨하튼 음악학교에서 오페라 공연 학사와 석사를 마친 후 15년동안 미국에서 오페라와 독주회, 오라토리오에 참여했다.
그는 뉴욕 리릭 오페라, 드 모인 메트로 오페라, 뉴욕 프랑스 오페라, 보스톤 오페라, 뉴올린스 오페라, 레이크 조지 오페라, 뉴저지 리릭 오페라, 오클라호마 오페라, 오페라 밀워키, 롱 아일랜드 리릭 오페라와 뉴욕 오페라 앙상블을 포함한 미국 전역 오페라 단체들과 30개가 넘는 배역을 연기했다.

Gerard Edery is an artist with a very broad palate of multifarious talents and skills. After graduating from the Manhattan School of Music with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in operatic performance he spent the next 15 years singing opera, recitals and oratorios throughout the United States.
He has performed over 30 roles with opera companies all over the U.S. including the New York Lyric Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, L’Opera Français de New York, the Boston Opera, New Orleans Opera, Lake George Opera, New Jersey Lyric Opera, Oklahoma Opera, Opera Milwaukee, the Long Island Lyric Opera and the Opera Ensemble of New York.
He has also sung countless recitals accompanied by world class pianists. His roles have included Escamillo in “Carmen”, Figaro in “Le Nozze di Figaro,” Mephistopheles in Gounod’s “Faust,” Dr. Miracle in The Tales of Hoffmann, Dr. Dulcamara in “L’Elisir D’Amore,” Don Basilio in “Il Barbiere di Siviglia,” Ralph in “La Jolie Fille de Perth” and Falstaff in “The Merry Wives of Windsor,” among many others. His oratorio work has included Rossini’s “Messe Solennelle,” Bach’s “Magnificat,” Handel’s “Messiah,” Schubert’s “Mass in Eb Major” and the Beethoven “Mass in C Major,” to name a few.
